Has a child growing up I must admit I always enjoyed Bonfire Night , but now I see how distressing it must
have been for our pets and wildlife with the sky above them lit up with high pitched screaming explosions.
This year I was rather concerned
about how our two young Conti giant rabbits Beauty and Billy would cope with it , they are only youngsters and this would be their first experience of Bonfire night . So every night for the week leading up to that night I started covering the front of their hutches with old rugs and then placed bags of hay on top of the rugs as well. It worked a treat!
not only did it cut out the glare of the fireworks , but it also went a long way in muffling out a lot of the noise.
One Smart lady
And as you can see Beauty loves her rug
She has never ever bothered to jump on top of her hutch before , that is of course until she spotted her rug up there , well it's got to be more comfy than the floor I guess , she obviously thinks so, look
She even fell asleep up there
And when she woke up because she realized I was taking her photo
I think you'll agree that look says it all!!!!
